When the optical cable sensor is affected by external vibration, some characteristics of the transmitted light in the optical cable will change. By configuring special sensing-equipment, the changes of light characteristics (i.e. attenuation, phase, wavelength, polarization, mode field distribution and propagation time) can be detected through signal acquisition and analysis. Through the special algorithm and analysis of the alarm controller, the change of light characteristics can distinguish the intrusion behavior of the third party from the normal interference, and realize the alarm and positioning functions. This system is mainly based on the principle of "fiber optic interferometer". In order to detect weak vibration, a balanced fiber interferometer is composed of two single-mode optical cables. When a coherent laser emits a beam of laser light to it, the interferometer composed of these two optical cables outputs interference light signals. When the optical cables are disturbed by the outside world, such as digging, touching, knocking, etc., the output waveform of the interference light changes, and an interference image is generated. This waveform change can be detected by a photodetector, and the real situation of the incident can be identified by analyzing the characteristics of the changed waveform by software, thus achieving the goal of ".
